Our unique location will ensure a memorable occasion for all your delegates whether taking some time out during a conference or actively taking part in team building exercises. As this part of the Suffolk coast is one of the sunniest areas in the whole of the United Kingdom, you and your guests will be able to enjoy the outdoors as much as the comforts of our facilities indoors.
For Team Building events, we can arrange an array of activities on site or nearby. There is Golf, Archery, Biking, Boat Racing, Tennis (or Table Tennis), Paint Balling, to name but a few however, you may wish to bring in a team building events professional to tailor activities specifically to your needs.
Tennis
Thorpeness Country Club has a strong history of excellent tennis. Boasting 7 hard courts and a further 2 grass courts in the summer, it offers a safe, fun and when you want it, competitive environment. Thorpeness Meare offers 60 acres of safe boating. Based on Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons, the Meare can offer your team different challenges, races and general fun. The Meare itself is never more than 1 metre deep in any one place and has a variety of different styles of boats available to hire to challenge your team.On ya bike!
Let the Suffolk coastline invigorate your team as they cycle their way around the area. We have a variety of bicycles to hire plus those with a bit of electric power for those who may need a bit of extra help.

Whether you fancy pitching a tent along the shoreline at Thorpeness next to the resident hardy fisherman, or visit one of the many renowned fishing lakes in the area to fish for fresh water trout, we can ensure that your team will learn the art of sitting still and being patient whilst having lots of fun! Thorpeness offers some of the best golf in the county. Let those keen golfers amongst you tackle the 18 holes of challenging heathland whilst our professional team can offer instruction and fun to those who have never swung a club in their life! Non-golfers will not miss out as we can arrange an introduction to the game with tuition with one of our Professionals, followed by a competition on the practice ground and putting green.
